In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
