The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge allies to provide Ukraine with further long-range missiles to hit Russian targets during discussions in the UK capital on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir plans to receive Ukraine's leader the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including more than 20 of supporting nations who have committed to provide Kyiv security guarantees once hostilities pause is brokered.

Zelensky has been pleading for several weeks for additional long-range weapons from the West, an action that Moscow has warned would worsen the war.

President Zelensky is travelling from Belgium, where he met European Union officials on Thursday seeking financial support.

"The sole individual engaged in the ongoing war who does not want to stop the conflict is the Russian leader," the Prime Minister stated.

Sir Keir furthermore announce that a hundred additional air defence missiles will be supplied to Ukraine ahead of schedule, as specified in a £1.6bn deal struck between Britain and Kyiv in March.

Sir Keir will encourage delegates to ramp up the delivery of long-range weapons following a productive strike on an industrial facility in the Bryansk region, Russia, using Britain-delivered missile systems.

"And his brutal strikes on young children in a nursery this week demonstrate that abundantly clear," he added.

Two children were included in no fewer than seven lost in a wave of Moscow's attacks on Ukraine, which hit a daycare center in the major urban center the eastern city.

Economic Talks

The Prime Minister will discuss with partner nations on methods to remove Russian oil and gas out of worldwide commerce.

The participants will furthermore consider using frozen Russian assets to offer Ukraine with monetary support, although the proposal experienced insufficient agreement and regulatory obstacles at the European meeting on Thursday.

European nations opted against agreeing to a proposal to employ as much as €140 billion in frozen Russian assets to financially prop up Kyiv's finances.

However, the leaders decided to contribute to the country's "financial needs" for the upcoming biennium.

The US furthermore announced measures on midweek against Russia's biggest petroleum firms, the state-owned company and Lukoil Corporation, as part of efforts to increase monetary leverage on the Kremlin to begin hostility discussions.

Moscow initiated its full-scale invasion of the country in early 2022. It presently holds about 20% of Ukrainian territory, comprising the southern region Russia annexed in 2014.
