The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes the determined fighter (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

With 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look out of place, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party understands precisely where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then settled his debts and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the party reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Explorers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
